Now, I can go into flash and do a little controller thingy and then embedd taht into my html code

    but

is there a way that i can do this directly ?

when i searched for it on w3schools - i came up wtih examples using mid & wav files - can i use mp3 ?

have you done this before ?

Yes you can use mp3. Flash is the most common method these days. I think it's a lot better than relying on Windows Media Player or Quicktime as you have control over what it looks like. As in, you can brand the flash mp3 player to match your site.

MP3 Streaming within notepad; create a new file and type in full URL to MP3 file:
    Code:
    http://www.yoursite.com/mysong.mp3
Then save the meta file as mysong.m3u and point the webpage to the *.m3u (audio/x-mpequrl) file:
    Code:
    http://www.yoursite.com/mysong.m3u
As MP3 is not at true streaming file format you have to use a stub.
