Another of those threads... who is the most successful?

How successful are you? How many uniques does your site generate? What is your site? How much income are you making off that site?

If you don't want to answer, DON'T.... Don't whine, just don't answer :P

Perhaps it would be a good idea to include the nature of the site, like gaming forum, free hosting site etc and whether income is made from ad networks or products sold

100k monthly uniques. not visits. not pageviews. if his average user visits a modest 3 pages a month, thats 300k pageviews. plus, with adsense and a banner or two you can easily make $3 cpm (of course this depends on the type of site) 900k x $3 CPM = $900

I haven't seen anybody toss up anything really big yet finished April at $23k in ads and I'm on pace to finish May at about $28k

Largest money maker is of course www.iamnotageek.com which is a software information site with an active forum and very large archive of good articles.

My advertising alone is about $600, throw in the dev work, it'd be over $1k this month.

Holy crap, do you get most of your traffic from search engines? I looked at your site and most of it is just content you can get anywhere off the net and there is not much of it either... How do you get so many visitors?

I know his site has turned up a more than a few times for me when Googling for some applications that turned up in other peoples startups list (the registry one, msconfig) (when I am fixing their computers I always go through that list to remove all the ****ware, and see what's installed that shouldn't be)....

    So, yeah, probably S.E.s

Lol, so pretty much it is a bunch of re-published content and he has good search engine rankings. That is cool.

I really wish that I can earn that much. Now at 200k uniques a month, I am not even reaching $300 yet.
