    Question Question about linking

I was read some articles about PR and do not realy undestand some details of PR calculation.

Let be page A with PR=x and page B with PR=y. So, if page A will have link to page B (but B have no link to A):

    1. PR of page B will increase.. is it right?

    2. PR of page A will decrease.. is it right?

    Pages don't give PageRank.

How you lose pagerank is if you send more PageRank to pages that don't link back to the linking page, than the PageRank you send to pages that do link back.

Basically, within your site the pages are all interconnected, if you link to one of them the benefit will make it's way back to the linking page. If you also link to pages that aren't part of your site (that don't link back) the benefit will be gone AND the amount you're sending to the pages on your site you are linking too will be smaller. Hence in a round about way you lose.
