    Inter linking between sites

I have a shared hosting account in which I can also host ad-on domains on the same account

So If I do so and inter-link between the sites than can it effect my search engine rankings in any adverse way?

another question: If I heavily link all of these sites from another site of mine (on a different server) than can it cause any problems ?

    Thanks

It won't hurt you, but it might not help you as much as you hope.

IMO the best way to interlink two sites is to link to a hub site and then from a hub site. Rather than cover your sites in links.

I interlink all my sites, but I also have unique IPs for each.

    .
So google won't mind if it sees sites with similar IP's having links in-between?

It will only help. I cross-link few websites that are hosted on same IP and it helped a lot for ranking of every website.

You can't control who links to you, so a search engine is simply going to devalue improper links, rather than penalize sites receiving them.

It helps. My sites are also cross linked in the same ip and got rankings for that.

I've seen big positive results from same IP linking, but don't weave your link network too tightly in this case. If you start site-widing every site to every other site on one C class you could have problems...
