Joining split up images in CSS, no tables

    Hi,

Ok I'm relatively new to CSS... I created a banner for the top of a site which I have then broken down into smaller pieces (as I would have done in html). This way certain parts can repeat, etc. Don't want the thing as a single image.

    BUT...

How do I put it together using a linked stylesheet? I don't want any tables or to reference the images in the HTML code.

I've tried making them background images but can't get them to join up.

    Help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

    Thanks

    Hi,

Have you got a link so we can see what you've got and what you are trying to do.

You will join the images up by repeating them in the appropriate elements depending on your layout. I would need to see some code to see where you are going wrong as this should be quite straight forward.

Ah, I think i'm ok now... have used multiple <divs> within <divs> to align the images up next to eachother.

    Cheers!
