    Strangest IEPC behavior

    This page here isn't displaying right in Internet Explorer for PC. The text (everything looks fine in Firefox to compare) that is a sort of pullquote on the top, only halfway appears, until you scroll down then it appears, the nav across the top has similar issues to the right where it joins the sidebar. I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME FIGURE OUT WHY THIS IS HAPPENING!

    I would really appreciate someone giving me some feedback as to why this may be occuring - the CSS for the page can be found here if so needed. Would someone please help me before I start weeping uncontrollably?

    Code:
    .pullquote {
    position:relative;
    }

    AH! Thank you! Can you tell my why it did that? I guess the logic behind it? Also, the background still messes up on the nav bar right at the sidebar point, is it a similar problem?

    Hi. The problem is something to do with IE'S layout bug... I think that particular thing thing is called the 'guillotine bug' (...or is it the 'peek-a-boo bug'?). Anyway, it's just because IE's crap. You have to take pure crapness into account.
    Position:relative gives it some 'layout' and... well, it's one way to fix things like that. (Sorry for the bad explanation - I bet you wish Paul had answered your problem).

    As for the other thing - I haven't been able to see what you're talking about. I've seen no strangeness in that other place. Besides, you haven't updated the page you linked to...

    Ah, sorry about not updating the file - I forgot - it is now if you don't mind looking at it...
    Thanks for the explination about the bug - I'm glad you helped me!

    Thanks again, let me know if you have an idea (the tan bar on the right overlaps the nav bar across the top, until you scroll down)

    Hey, I'm sorry but I haven't been able to duplicate/see your problem. Did you fix it?

    haha, apparently so. I don't know how, but it's not there now. Maybe your fix fixed both and I was delusional. Thanks BonRouge! You've been quite helpful!
