    Gaming Site Advertising (Publisher)

I have a gaming site, and I realize that CTR on those are low, but it seems that adsense has no decent ads for them, which I'm sure contributes to the problem. I've had to block most of the ads that were coming through, as they were illegal cheat, hack, and game-content sellers, which are against the tos... but what I have left are things like "corkboard bulletin boards cheap" (in the forum).

So my question is whether there is a service more geared toward the gaming community? Something that advertises new games, or software, or what have you? I'd really rather not go looking for advertisers myself at this point...

    Thanks!

You could try to get into EBGames' affiliate program. I just got in but haven't finished setting it up yet. I have one unique advertiser running on my site then Burst! and Rydium ads.

they're worse than burst but they are my second tier and dont give me many defaulties and they accepted gaming sites. eCPM is around 0.17 for my top banner and 0.13 for the skyscraper.

Also look into associating with gamefly http://www.gamefly.com

On my gaming site Google Adsense works quite well.... but I have them worked into the content quite a bit so thats probably the main reason. Other than that I use ValueClick which gives me really low CPM...

I've got a gaming site that gets the highest CTR on all of my sites.

A gaming site isn't any different than any other content site. Placement is key with adsense. Put an adsense block in the middle of articles and watch your CTR and eCPM soar up.
