idea to sort template offers based on price

It would be nice if there was a way to sort or filter templates based on price. Is this difficult for the developers of sitepoint to program? Does anyone else like this idea?

It would be easier for the user that does not have a lot of time. Yet i'd say it is quite hard, i'm not a great vbulletin developer but it seems quite hard. See, averagely there is 6 new templates or so a day here at sitepoint market place, they are sorted like normal topics on which that have been replied to latest.

I think, they should move the whole thing then, make a whole new categorie, Articles | Books | Blogs | Forums | Marketplace

This would be a very nice expansion to sitepoint as i think the marketplace is the far most visited place, a better system for this would be great in a new section, maybe a auction script what do i know.

But this is all pretty hard as the marketplace as it looks at this moment is fully intregated with the forums.

A good idea my friend, but its only realizable within a matter of month's or more i think, but definately good that you brought it up!

I like your idea of categories as another way of sorting the templates. I realize that not many templates are submited here, but perhaps this is the very reason why - it's a hassle to scan through each post for a template that interests you. If this was made more user friendly it might prove much more beneficial for both the template creator and the ones looking for templates.

I like the idea also.
Or maybe even an script that allows people to bid on templates, that keeps things organized, such as reviews, votes and other things. And maybe even having a small preview of each template submitted, so that they know what they are about to pick and look at.

Almost like an err whatcha-meh-call it . . . and oscommerce or e-commerce script?
