    What DOES FastClick/CPM Networks Accept?

Seriously. I've tried content sites, game sites, my free file upload site and ltos more. All that meet their traffic requirements etc.

Do they accept joke/humor sites? Stores? Product Comparison?

How the hell do I get accepted? What the heck do I need to do?

they most likely won't take joke sites. as for stores and product comparison, probably not if they are running off affiliate programs. they want original content.

Stupid fastclick... all my sites are rejected. I can't figure out what they like either.

I was accepted into fastclick within a few hours of submitting the application. My site is about audio software. It recieves 1000k+ uniques a day. We put up a privacy policy because it seems they want one. The site is also has a very clean nice design, and the only other ads on it were adsense.

However, I didn't like their ads, so I don't really use them :P

I get 8k uniques per day, so they don't seem to care about traffic. Why don't they just put up a page on their stupid site saying what kind of websites they are accepting?

Maybe you need a site with actual content? I dunno, just a thought. Every site in your sig is basically a make-a-buck scheme. If you were an affiliate, would YOU take someone with your type of sites??? I wouldn't. Try actually building a site that's useful, dude, instead of SEO'ing out the wazoo to attract people just so you can get them to click on a link. Call me crazy.

Considering your lack of ethics, I don't blame them.

because it changes all the time and for certain categories they probably aren't rejecting all sites, they are just far more selective.

fryman, i don't think they're exactly looking to advertise on a site like yours with layer ads and zango, that already cut's out (maybe) their layer ad option, plus you've got alot of ads on there already.

You're pretty maxed out, and you do what you need to make income, but fastclick doesn't care about that.

As for me, i submitted for my say... 7th time, and they finally said okay, we'll give you an account, just the other 6 times they weren't looking for sites of that category.

fastclick accept whatever they need to at that exact moment. if they have excess entertainment adverts, they are more likely to accept an entertainment site. thats not a guarantee though - according to the quarterly meeting, they get 100+ signups per day..

weird. I've only had 1 out of 12 sites rejected.

And the one I had rejected was a game site which already had a ton of ads on it. On a whim I took the ads off for a day just ut one google banner, then reapplied and got in. I think if your site has a lot of ads they reject them because they don't want to compete on your site.

Also I know for a fact they automatically reject almost every site using certain CMS. Like PHPNuke, PostNuke, Xoops, Mambo and a few others. One of their reps even said that over on Geektalk a while back. They think it's generic content or something.

Also they want sites which are updated a lot (or so they claim, even though 5 of the sites I run them on I made and never touched again)

They still take gaming site witha actual content. They won't take gaming sites that are basicallyn affiliate portals. You do need actual content.
