    Linking from different IP blocks

The more I read lately about linking a website network, the more I'm starting to worry about my configuration.

Right now I have all my sites on one dual Xeon server and my network linking page is also on the same server.

I've read a few horror stories and think that maybe I should at least move my network link site/page to another server.

I'd like to hear any opinons on this any of you might have.

Can you get IPs on a different subnet from your provider? My server is with servermatrix and I have different IP's on different subnets (different class C).

if its important stuff do what christoph said I use several IP blocks for my network but I use a single IP for everything that isn't as important. Once they get huge I simply move IPs.
