How does Smiley Central convert for you?

I'm interested in knowing the conversion rate that you have with the smiley central campaign from Azoogleads. It is one of my best ones, but I don't like my rate, it is now at an average of 15%

    Please post yours.

    Thanks

Eck, beeing going downhill for a while now. I also see less of them on major sites. It seems Ask Jeeves/IAC major restruction on the program has had its effect on the big guys. If they updated the images more often, that would help also.

lol, you can still find some 04 thanksgiving banners there...

But since they did all this mess with geotargeting and then rolled back, I am wondering what conversion rates people here have

Heh, most are accidental clicks and stuff, I haven't actually SEO'd or search enginely promoted the offer.

Just a bad day I think! Even without targeting Smileys you still should get an average conversion of approximately 1:15

Maybe you can offer also on your Web site 'Free' Screensaver, Buddy Icons, eCards downloads? That way people have more choice & there will be more change that someone will download something. All of them perform very well on a regular basis!

Well, it depends where you get the traffic from. You can usually get a conversion rate for smileys of about 0.5% - 1% on traffic exchange, but that's free, low quality traffic. Smiley Central has quite an easy download, so I think 10% - 15% should be possible with a good PPC campaign.

It is just a pitty that they have that ridiculous way of promoting the program where you send your visitor form a landing page over to the smiley central page, where they need to click once more to download the pack. That second extra click kills almost all your conversions.

That second filtering is purposely added by the advertiser so only those really really interested(rather really really dumb) will install it.

I ran it for 24 hours or so, gave it at least 50k impression.

    Zero registered installs.

Never bothered to try it again after that.

Hmm.. Does any other network also run the Smile campaigns? I do not see them in by Websponsors or Advertising.com accounts.

Budsinc has the hotbar campaign, and top-converting.info has some kind of smiley packs available for download
