    ASP Help - Recordset

    Hi

    Can you help!

    I need some guidance.

    I have a application which records hours used in support for our customers on a type of calendar.
    Hours used are shown per month and what i want to show is Current Month and Last Month Figures and i am stuck how to show that on one page?

    Any ideas?

    Customer Name Bank Balance Bank Balance from Last Month
    abc 20 25

    and my database is

    BBF
    Bank Balance
    Hours
    Month
    Year
    CustomerID

    ANy help would be most appreciated

    Do you keep a running history of their balances? If not then you have no data to display for past months.

    will all you need to do is delcar an hour start ( usually by getting the time at the start of the session ) then when the session ends ( leaving the site or timeout ) getting the time there as well. All you then need to do is find out the difference between two times and then subtract it from the users total, then add it to the database.

    On the same page, its easy, display what you want first, then close the recordset and then reopen it calling back data for that user the month before ( using dates ).
