frames troubleshooting
Hi, I'm having a problem when using frames, in that the page comes up as an untitled document. How do I overcome this? Even when I select each frame and put in page names in the page properties dialog - it remains untitled. Please, any suggestions?
Qu.2 When printing with frames, how do I activate just the main part of the document. I would like to add a print button that you press that will allow users to print just the content (main frame) and not the buttons and header on separate pages ie. print the one frame. Is this possible in dreamweaver or will I have to use javascript in a package like Fireworks - is this even possible? Please, all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Have you given your actual frames page a title?? When you use frames, it's the title of this page that shows in the title bar of the browser window.
I don't know if there's a way to set a page to print with Dreamweaver as I don't use it, but there are plenty of sites offering free javascripts and I'm sure I've seen a 'Print This Page' script.
These are a couple of sites I use:
