    Windows 2000 Process Management

Windows 2000 (and I believe NT and XP) has a very nice process manager that lets you set priorities on processes. Is there any use for a home user? Or is this more of a server/administration type of feature?

I know how processes are given priorities over each other, but can this help me? If so, how/what ways?

For instance, if I set the Q3 Arena process to AboveNormal or High would I see increased frames? Or would this only be evident if my computer were managing a network printer and running a web server?

Just wanting to know if I can put this to use

I strongly doubt you could get any more FPS out of that feature, However in the example you mentioned you could give network printing a higher priority than say opening excel spreadsheets.
Straight from the TP! And I don't mean the Trailer Park.
