    SP2 work around for pops

We have finalized the code that shows pops even thru SP2's popup blocker.

And before I post the link, let me say that if you post a reply that you didnt get an ad and you are from a country such as Russia or from somewhere where we do not have inventory, you would not see an ad anyways.

Also, make sure you are in IE.

If you are tired of impressions being lost to SP2 and popup blockers, check this out.

Those ads have been popping up (no pun intended) on many sites I visit. Man are they annoying

It's good to see pop-up blockers useless again for a little while.

So, do we need to create a new code for our sites, or will the one we are using right now include this new feature?

I've been getting popups in firefox for ages now. I don't care about it though.I actually have my IE popup blocker turned off. They just don't bother me.

And, with any luck, overpro will get around that as well.

You can make a lot of money with popunders, just don't over do it or you will lose all your visitors. Still it is nice to be making money with pops again

yes, i am not saying its for everyone. its a cat and mouse game and currently the mouse just figured out a way to get around the mouse trap. its really not a big deal at all. the point of this is just to show you we are commited to helping the publisher.

Yeah, I must say I'm impressed with you (and other advertisers) for putting in the time and resources to get around the blockers. That helps the publisher and the advertiser.

I guess if I used some sort of popup on my sites I'd be happier

I think we don't need to change it, they would tell us otherwise or maybe it's not implemented yet(in testing mode).

Nice! I see a familiar pattern developing.

ie - Radar Guns v. Radar Detectors

People have popup blockers for a reason. I'd never visit a site again that had a "work around" for my popup blocker.

And I'm sure that web site wouldn't want you visiting again either. It goes both ways, see?

I'm a person that does click on the ads on the sites I visit, I just don't like popups. So if they don't want me there, adding a product like this will get the job done.
