Newbie question

I found this on a website and was wondering if that has a positive or negative effect on SEO. All the city links point to the main signup page.

I apologize if the question seems really basic, but that's about all the knowledge I have right now although it is increasing thanks to this forum!

As far as I can see, each city/county page is listed in Google, and they seem to have a relatively good ranking. Making each of them link to the main sign-up page probably does have some positive effect on its PR (over 300 of them count as backlinks), but nothing spectacular (it's only a PR4).

That's strange; I didn't know that a PR reading would vary that much depending on what source you use. I usually check PR at www.top25web.com/pagerank.php.

I just ran it through your top25 link and it showed a 5.....what gives?
