2 years in Top Ten! Now Vanished!

Thank you Dan Theis for answering some of my questions:
    http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/show...0&postcount=79

Perhaps some of you can chime in and let us know what to do?

I have a website that no longer is picked up by google.
If you do a site:domain.com, google comes up with nothing. Back in late 03 and early 04 I was in the top 10 with my keywords and google.

Currently it is the same site, and no code has changed. Today, that site is no where to be found.

I wanted to know what I should do. I want to keep the domain name as that domain name is my company name, but most of my business comes from other sites. I was thinking about scrapping the code and just replacing the code with new stuff.

Can any one provide some insite..

    1. SHould I ask my host to change my IP address?
    2. Should I sell my self the domain name and register it under a differnet name? That way the WHO-IS looks like it been changed?

    3. Should I move ISP Host's all together and get off their network?

What can I do to bring new life for this domain?

I am having a similar problem with my site. I get nothing on Google, but my site is fairly new, about 2 or 3 months. How long does it take to appear in Google?

Certainly wait a little longer, and make sure you have links inbound from sites that are already spidered.

Not being listed on a new site after only 3 months is not an issue. You need to make sure Google can find your site.

In my case, I have incoming links from many sites, and my site was listed for years. Now, it is gone. I have not changed the code, or anything.

Email Google. Sites dont just drop from the database completely unless they're banned.

Emailing is the best possible solution as what I can figure out is your site is probably banned.

I have emailed google. They have told me that my site is not banned.
Apart from writing to google, would redeveloping the site with a brand new look, link names, and navigation, does anyone think that would help?
