You're not allowed to draw attention to the ads in any way. I once got a warning because someone on my forums mentioned they were seeing google ads (I just launched the ads). No one was telling anyone to click or check or anything. They just said something like - "cool, I see we have ads now, even Google ads". That was it.
Months later, a Google rep found the thread in the archives and asked me to edit out the reference to the Google ads.

Great business pratices are wonderful but finding a post in a forum archive (over a month old) and making the owner edit it? I don't know about that one pal.
