    session error

    Hi
I wrote an application on server, and then moved it to another server. This application used sessions, and worked fine on the server I developed it, but when I moved it over to the other server this error occured:

Fatal error: Call to unsupported or undefined function session_start() in admin.php3 on line 11

I think the new server has a earlier version of php? could that be hte problem

I believe that PHP4 supports sessions, PHP3 does not.

That is correct Ryan. Session support was added into PHP4, your options are at this point: upgrade the nwe server or rewrite your scripts to be backward compatible for php3, which means using a custom session handling routine. PHPLIB will work in PHP3.
