Question about traffic

Hey there, thanks for taking time to read this.

I have a small website, started out of boredom at 3am awhile back.
This month is the first I've kept my eyes on the stats and it averages out to be around 350 uniques a day. I just put Adsense on it, and I just opened another site of which is getting nothing a day heh. Anyone with a cooking site want to link to me?

The question I have is, what can I do to build traffic on my sites?
I have another that I'll show that isn't in my sig, but I would prefer to only PM that one.
