I have no idea and I'd like to know too.

Just a warning though, most Internet Service Providers don't allow you to host a server on your home computer and they will terminate your account if they find out that you are running a server. If the FTP server is just to transfer a few large files every now and then I supposed they will have a hard time catching you, but if there is a constant high usage of upload bandwidth they will be on to you rather quickly.

    G6 FTP Server 2.0

    www.gene6.com

I use it for my server in #mp3hq; and it's nice. Great...you got to play around with it for like 5 minutes to get a feel for it though.

    None-the-less; it's the best.

I'll second Adam's recommendation - I'm a happy user of Gene6 FTP server as well. I believe he was the one who recommended it to me

It's very powerful and customizable and works well. I am not sure about speed, but that shouldn't be a worry if it is only for a few files.

It's D A M N fast, but the more people you have on your server, the slower your connection, and computer.

If you want to, I suggest in the option's selecting "Real Time - Critical", as it'll REALLY use your computer, and make it go even faster.
