This might be a dumb question. I knw you can block certain sites within adsense, but is there a way to filter keywords?
I hadn't checked by stats in a few days, and when I went and check them I almost threw up. Not to give exact CTR details, but I was lucky if I was getting one click out of every 30,000+ page views.
So I go to the sites, which are generally game, or random entertainment, as well as a blog, and the ads had NOTHING to do with any of the content. Like every ad was for affiliate sites, and affiliate software, and how to make a billion dollars being an affiliate, and refinance your home loan, and random other crap. I searched through all my content trying to find what they were grabbing to even bring that up, and I'll be damned if I know. But the ads were so extremely irrelevant, on every page, it was almost comical. I mean I'm used to getting random stuff once in a while, but it's usually because of something on the site, but any more irrelevant then affiliate software for a 14 year old playing a flash game.
That's very strange. All you can really do is play around with your content, and try to strategically add some more keywords that do relate to your topic. If this doesn't work, you'll have to email Google, and see if they can give you any advice.

I think WealthStream's solution is about your only option. You can not directly exclude certain key words via the AdSense control panel. I sometimes wish we could.
