Do I need to use Web Services for this?

I have a growing statistics site where I need to offer webmasters an icon with their current ranking and such information. Do I need to use Web Services for this? Or should I go ahead with the traditional <script src="">?

I would use the traditional just because people are used to it. Plus, for statistics, you need to have the code client-side, not server-side, don't you?

Yes but I am not talking about the statistics code.. It is already the normal way. I am asking about the additional services when they can take a code to show their ranking at my site and their stats (not the same code).

    Oh, sorry.

It doesn't really matter how you do it -- it's all just personal choice and preference. Do what you think works best.

Thanks. If it really has nothing to do with enhancing the performance, then traditional shall it be
