    Exclamation permission denied error

    hi i'm getting permission denied error. :'(
    i've got windows xp and iis instaled.
    my friend has windows98 and pws instaled and the code works fine there.
    so what can be the problem ?
    i've already given all the permissions in scrrun.dll and in the wwwroot folder...
    please HELP

    Most likely your script attempts to read/write in a folder where it has no permissions to do that.

    Exactly. You need to give read/write permissions for the IUSER account in whatever directory you are trying to write to. Most likely your database directory.

    you may add
    Conn.mode = 3
    or
    Conn.Mode = adModeReadWrite
    which by "Default" is adModeRead...
    perhaps this might help...else as Thing said ...go to the folder security and change permissions and add IUSER with full read/write enabled.

    right click on the access db, goto security, then search for iuser. Give this full permission then close the database before trying to access it.

    Having the db open can cause this as its a sharing violation.
