    no minimum imps cpm companies

I have recently started a new site. Well, actually I am in the process of transferring all my old pages from a site that I don't want anymore. Obviously the new site has little traffic (other than those who click on my signature from this site- you are a nosey bunch )

I want to keep this site totally seperate so I don't want to add the url under my existing cpm company accounts. Are there any companies who will accept it in its present format (want to get design established at the start)

was thinking of adsense but not sure I want to go down that route.

    Thoughts?

    "Newness" of a site

It has been my experience that new sites actually perform quite well with online advertising. When a user comes to a new site, they tend to be more engaged with the entire site. They browse around and look at all the content – including the advertisements. And of course by seeing the advertisement, the user is then more likely to click the advertisement… and so on. This translates into happy advertisers, which in turn translates into happy publishers - $$.

Yes, agree with Michael there. *Wonders why one of my sites is still pending approval/rejection at HDM*

I am sure you are allowed to put a link to your website in your siganture. I have had a helluva job finding the address. Well, until I tried the most obvious way( he says rather shamefaced)

I also agree with safetysnow. When a new users comes to a newer site, they explore your site and there is a great chances to click on advertisements but your advertisement should be on eye catching position.

Very early days but so far so good with Hurricane. They appear to have counted every single impression I sent (+/- less than one percent). Its easy to know this of course when your site only generates about 200imps a day (and growing- I hope!!)

So at least we know their technology can cope with the demands of high impression counting

    Technology

We are using Accipiter's AdManager to serve ads across our network.

Their software is excellent in terms of realiabilty, scaleability, and reporting. Plus their customer support is second to none. I encourage all publishers who are looking to beef-up their admanagement, to give them consideration.

Please forgive, if this sounds spammy. All of us at Hurricane Digital Media are just very pleased with their software.

If anyone has other questions about our technology, please let me know.

Rates are decent,I am not sure if we are allowed to disclose them but its better than most other providers with no minimum imps. And according to there site they dont exclude internation traffic.
Also I just started with them a few days ago and they have been very nice and solve problems very quickly.

Well since others have said there CPMs I will say mine
I get around .17 cents for mostly Morth American traffic. Past few days most of my visits have been Canadian so if they become US again the CPM may go up.

If u have a low traffic site....getting a CPM network wont earn much...I would rather you do a CPA campaign which will be a better choice...

I just started with HDM and started showing ads yesterday. Today when I logged in I see:

    Date Impressions Earnings eCPM
    2005-05-02 9983

    No earnings ??

Is that common or do they take more time to show earnings ?

Well I signed up with them today to see how well they handle my forum traffic and DownloadFreak. If they do well I'll try them on my larger sites.

I was a bit skeptical of them when they first launched because of their site design (http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?t=245805) but sitting back in the shadows and watching them evolve they're looking like they're worth the risk these days.

Please keep posting your experiences with them. Interesting so far.

    Still chugging along so far...

They announced that the CPM rates were down yesterday due to some traffic realignment in their network. Also we lost any impressions we served yesterday to the "forbidden countries".

Due to those 2 facts my impressions shown that they counted are almost equal to my uniques

They did say eCPM should recover over the next few days so I'll watch for that. eCPM is sitting at 0.12 right now. I got a LOT of banner errors yesterday but that may have been due to the network reconfiguration.

    So.... we'll see

I did see my revenues today, 0.11 cpm. Yeah, I didn't like their logo or web design as well, but I shall not jump to conclusions on their performance till I receive the first check
