    New Email Program

Anyone know of a little program that loads up in the Windows system tray and tells you if (and possibly how many) new emails you have? I tried out Korn in Mandrake and it is pretty cool.

There are quite a few downloads at download.com (http://download.cnet.com/downloads/1...l&cn=&ca=10001). Any recommendations as to what ones do the job the best (have most configuration/features/etc)?

    Thanks

So I am guessing you want one for Linux.....

Mozilla is supposed to be able to do this when it is finished (whenever that is!!)
I will be on the lookout for you...

You are able to have Outlook or Outlook Express start up automaticly by placing a shortcut of the program you want to start up at Windows start up inside the 'Start Up' folder which is usually located under Start > Programs > StartUp. In Outlook, there is a feature that will make a box pop up telling you there is new mail.
    Good luck

You could also get MSN Messanger. It will search for your new e-mail whenever you log on. I have it but I get so much e-mail I just know there will be something in the old box!

You could use Pegasus. It doesn't say how many new e-mails you have but it does let you know when you have new mail.

I have MSN Messenger open all the time, but I thought that only works for Hotmail.

I found a program called NewMail that is exactly what I wanted. It is a nice little program....displays message headers and other things I didn't think of. Pretty customizable too.
