    updated info for interclick publishers

Theres been a lot of speculation on the low fill rate of our network recently; however, that is not the case as our sales team has been great in bringing in several new advertisers. Today though, we found a bug in the impression counting that will be fixed tomorrow AM (probably before many of you guys are awake). To compensate everyone for their patience and understanding, we will be using the average earnings per day for April 1-17 and applying that from the 18th-tomorrow for everyone. Hopefully this will help ease people's apprehensions. If anybody feels there is a more fair and just way, please feel free to post here or send a PM to myself, Mike, or Andrew.

Sounds good. I'm glad you found the bug, I was really worried about the low count I was getting.

However I have another site that has just been in the network for a few days, it wasn't in Midaddle, it got accepted when it was already interclick, what would happen in this case?

That's a great move - respect to interclick (whe did I miss the name change?)

InterClick is much nicer than midaddle by the way

I hope this is the reason that I make more money off running Fastclick interstitials, than running Interclick Interstitials, Overlays, and Sliders combined!

yep, great move, they heard me That's the only ad network that actually do something or add stuff in response, not just playing words.

Actually, you are mistaken. RealTech announced in it's publisher newsletter a couple of weeks ago the move to edeposits and ewires. They've also said they are adding additional international countries to their layer ads rotations.

RealTech is not the only one who is adding services. FastClick has been testing text ads in to their rotations. BlueTime is moving out of beta, and into general release shortly. RealCast has also introduced layer ads to their services.

As you can see, there are several networks that are moving to help and assist publishers. You are just not paying attention to them.

Fastclick is a great network and have always listened to their publishers, this has helped them become the network they are today. The point is not to say who is doing what in comparison to other networks here though, the point is that we are doing what we have always done and that is to focus on keeping the publishers happy (even in times of technical disarray).

That maybe true, but other networks not listed are also moving to appease publishers. InterClick may be a great network, but there are others that are just as good. Unfortunately, I can only go by third person info since I do not serve these types of ads. Tooting your own horn is kinda egotistic if you ask me.

If you read my post again you will see that I said do something or add stuff in response, not just adding services. I emailed them about this stats and that they do not compensate what is missing, did fastclick test text ads because you have asked them? I don't think so, I think that's to their benefits. I was simply posting about personal support.

A lot of your posts contain info that RealTech network are great and stuff like that, for me they are not great, but I did't reply to your posts saying why you are posting RealTech in almost every your post. Let's stay on topic anyway.

How does paying publishers sooner and by faster methods helping the network? I know many publishers that are looking forward to the new payment methods from RealTech. In terms of FastClick, we've all been complaining about the annoying banners. I think if the text ads do well, it should be a positive for all. Also, networks that expand to other formats seem to move with the times. It is important for publishers to see various networks expand into other areas. It usually shows, I hope, growth. Just my opinion.

That's all great, but I registered just before the upgrade. And the impression counting bug was already there. It was actually much worse... I was getting 0.3% fill! Therefore, for me, I don't think taking the average earning per day would be any kind of a fair reflection. Any idea what applies for me?

Oh, and any plans of a CPC arrangement? I'm getting 8% CTR, and I'm sure my earnings would skyrocket if there was CPC!

Who is the most foolish? The fool, or the one who quotes him, or the moderator that quotes the dude that quotes the fool?

Don't quote me on this, but the above might make a good quote.

    All 3 of them?

Wait make that all 4 including me!

The moderator however can bring the fool count to 0 by doing a little cleaning up!

My interclick ads finally work today. Kudos to them for this move, and they've been very responsive and helping in response to all my e-mails.

Subhadip. As we all know, its not CTR thats important but whether the traffic is actually converting on the back end for the advertisers so they can hit their CPA.

Lastly, 0.3% would imply 99.7% of your traffic comes from places outside US, CA, UK, AU, NL and we cant fill it. Come on man, who are you kidding.
