Online Photo Albums
Hi Folks,
I'm looking for an online photo album service (similar to Yahoo's) which will let me upload photos of my Australian Trip to.
I need a service that allows me to upload 100 or so photos (I am only going to put a select few on just now, but will definitely want to put more on later) that is free and also supports the ability to allow only my family for instance, to see certain albums.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Hello,
You might want to try zing.com. I think it might fit your needs. Photopoint.com used to be really good too, but I think they've started to charge.
Good luck!

Online Photo Sites
I've done a pretty comprehensive search of online photo album/developer sites. My results are compiled at www.kalorama.net/digital.shtml
I concluded that Shutterfly.com had a pretty decent set of services and prices. DotPhoto.com has a very informative website and really cheap prices for ordering prints, but I have not tried their development services. Ofoto.com previously was my favorite, but lately my prints have been too dark. The forums at Photo.net are also really informative.

Check out www.ofoto.com. Their rates are somewhat high, but great quality!

I've heard some good stuff about DotPhoto.com ... prices are pretty cheap, and the photo quality is supposed to be excellent...
btw... don't even try zing.com.. they just went under. I believe they cut a deal with ofoto.com for their customers.Whatevah

yeah.... looks like *somebody* messed up his .htaccess file..
if you check out the newsgroup alt.photo.digital , you'll see some remarks about most of the photo sites. you can search the archive at http://groups.google.com (formerly deja)
somebody did a review of all the sites.. I'll look for the url.Whatevah
