BLOB field inserts - please help
I realize that MySQL has limitations, and that directly storing the file in the database has performance issues, but all that aside, I still need to know HOW to insert a file into a BLOB field once the file has been uploaded to the server. I can handle the upload fine, but I don't have any examples of code that insert an uploaded file into a BLOB field.
I'm going to try searching Microsoft's website, since they have such detailed documentation, but since MySQL doesn't behave like SQL Server, I don't know whether anything I find there will be useful.
Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

simple.. all you need to do.. is open the file... read the contents into a variable.. and then insert the variable into mysqli dunno...
