I have made over 70 referrals to freeipods.com and it says for every one of them that none have sucessfuly completed an offer. Has anyone else tried this? Is everyone else having the same problem?

I have a friend in the US who actually got his free ipod...dont know if he was in the same chain as you. He told me it's a BIG hassle though.
i have no idea what was involved in receiving the ipod.

You have to refer like 5 people that complete an "offer" like a credit card application or a blockbuster card...there are a bunch of different things you can do. I have like 70+ over 3 months...and not one has compelted an offer...seems hard to believe to me.
That's fully possible. It depends what your market is. I know lots of people who had 5 completed offers straight off the bat, and a lot of others who were in a similar situation as you.

I know of 2 people that did this... not sure if that's the website they went through though. From what I hear most people start the process but don't complete it once they get to something that asks for their SSN.Originally Posted by 321web

these offers usually dont apply to those outside the u.s (like me in asia)
would be great if there is one.
stay hungry, stay foolish.
Their whole plan is dependent on lots of people never "going all the way", so I don't find it that hard to believe.Originally Posted by 321web

I opened a freeipods account several months ago. I got four people to complete an offer. I just need one more so I'm getting really frustrated here. Anyone here want to help me out? I'll pay cash. PM me if interested, I'll PM you my referral link.

Took me getting 100+ people to signup before I actually got 5 people who completed their offer. For the mac mini and flat screen i've gotten over 100 and only have 1 or 2 on each.
Send a reminder or something to the people you referred. Also, watch this video, from TechTV, they interview the CEO of Gratis. Getting even 5-10 people to use their credit card to sign up for some of the offers is harder than it looks, even when they know (or maybe don't believe perhaps), that they won't be charged if they cancel before the free trial is over.Originally Posted by 321web
Sign-up on a conga site for referrals who will actually complete offers.
