IIS 5: TCP port 80 & FTP

I'm running IIS 5 on win2k for local development & a Zone Alarm firewall. I'm largely ignorant of server security and FTP details:

Does changing the TCP port from the defualt port 80 provide any security benefits? What other ports work?

How about FTP? I've been using Homesite for FTP which has sometimes been problematic. Can I use IIS's FTP server to connect to my host FTP site & manage remote files with IIS/MMC?

Win2k what? Pro, server, advanced server?

The win2k FTP server is not a ftp client, you do not use it to connect to a ftp server, it IS a FTP server.

If you run a good firewall it should be able to take care of most security issues, including Ports etc.
