    Awesome Website

If you haven't seen this site, you HAVE too! It's so cool!
    www.searchbots.net

You can look up really awesome, fun, exciting website based on your mood, fav. color, top 5, or different categories.

It is a Flash site: it has an awesome intro and layout. It's really fun to go to! I love it. Check it out and tell what you like about it!

    Hi swimm5001,

I understand you are a fan of flash. I'm not as enthusiastic about it, but as far as flash sites go I suppose it is quite impressive.

Perhaps you could tell us why in particular you like this site? It really would help us if you did, just so we know where you're coming from on this

I like Searcbots b/c it has good examples of fresh lookin websites. If you search by color it gives good color sceme ideas. I don't know really, I just think it's very cool.

Well the intro's awesome, but I don't think the functionality is that good. I searched for blue and slashdot came up (it's green).

Yeah...and a search for green brings up four results. Funny how it has to "calculate" which ones make it to the top 5 when there are only four

Not a bad design, but it is lacking in functionality.

Momentarily interesting as far as Flash goes, but it's one of those been there, seen that type of things. As far as the search goes, it claims to seek out the best of the web, etc. I don't see where Buy.com comes into this from a search on "Blue". Clearly, this is yet another pay for placement or keyword purchasing search engine.

While this website is a rather impressive implimentation of flash it is little more!! I am in now way a fan of flash, i think it is overused, over abused, and over stated...my other thoughts on it arent polite

The very idea behind this site is rather corny if you think about it...

Have to say this is one of the worst sites I've ever been to.

Where's the content. Some of the 'quality' sites they have referenced have nothing but a mailto link.

You know what, I can't believe I would get such rude replies to my opinion. I wasn't asking for a complete rundown of how you guys think the site "sucks". Gees, I think you all need to take a chill pill.

I hope you're not this rude to everyone you come across.

I don't think the negative comments were directed at you, Swimm. Don't take it so personally.

You asked us to take a look and say what we liked about it, and we did. It's just that most of us weren't too keen on it, that's all.

    Agreed!

If you ask for opinions, posting a website in a forum is effectively just that unless you state some other purpose, then you must accept those opinions gracefully!
