    Web CEO?

    Hi all,

Anybody have any expierence with Web CEO? is it worth the money?

I've got my eye on the Professional edition, but I thought id ask the community to see what you all think of it first.

I'm looking at this purely from a management point of view, just to keep track of multiple seo campaigns - i'm not interested in automatic submission or anything like that.

    Thanks,
    Matt.

it's useful - would not rely on it for everything though (especially keyword research for which their stats differ wildly from word wordtracker which i find to be much more reliable)

PROS - excellent ranking reporting, optimisation advice
CONS - keyword research could be much better/accurate

all in all its the best of the bunch if your looking for a nice tool for automating some processes but as has been made clear here before - never rely solely on automated tools for SEO

Thanks for your comments Expressweb and ct_roy.

I did notice in the free version that the keyword search numbers were massively higher then other sources - anybody know where they get their data?

Shame the numbers don't seem accurate - it's quite nice that it automatically generates the KEI.

It's a great software. I used the free version for a big period now, and I'm very satisfied. I will probably buy the professional version later this day.

Please always look at the expanded features. Sometimes the investment for better/upgraded software is not always worth it. Check your needs, and what the professional version offers, and make a decision from that view.

the use a combination of major directories like dogpile and others afaik and don't include the likes of google which is a major flaw if you ask me

I use Web CEO Pro edition and love it. I really get a lot of use out of the customized ranking reports. I generate ranking reports on a monthly basis for my SEO clients and it is so easy to send a branded report directly to them via email.

I was lucky enough to purchase it when they were running their promotions. I got it for like $270.

It's a great program and the Hitlens stats program is great, too.

I'm using the paid version 5.5, by the way.
