    Arrow Page cannot be displayed

A ton of my users (including myself) keep getting the "Page cannot be displayed" error while browsing the site. It is so frequent that I have lots about half the traffic to my site in one week. I am pretty sure it is a configuration problem, but not sure how to do anything about it.

The only thing I can do about it right now is to restart Apache and it seems to fix it for a few hours, but then the errors just start again.

You can take a look into them, and find out the reasons.

I also tried recompiling Apache last night and it doesn't seem to have helped.

Sorry sowi, but this is my first dedicated, not sure what you are asking. The site works at least half the time for most users.

Is Apache receiving the requests you're sending it in the sense that do the requests show up in the logs?

Well I assume whenever you get the page cannot be displayed page it tries to show that page which I havn't made a custom one so it just records that as the error. The errors don't happen on any specific page.

Can you confirm whether or not Apache receives the request on the pages you're trying to view?

Look in your access log. It won't appear in the error log.

But is that the file you are requesting?

That doesn't show any file names at all. Also, like I said, it is any page on the site.

That's not relevant to what I'm asking though. I'm strictly asking whether or not you see the page request in the Apache logs.

Nothing in the access_log has file names. So no.

The only ones that have a filename are ones like:

    127.0.0.1 - - [11/Apr/2005:21:14:59 -0500] "GET /whm-server-status HTTP/1.0" 200 16369

There aren't any that display a file path to a page on any of my websites.
