    what can google see in <noscript>?

    I need google to run an external file when it spiders a page. I currently use
    HTML Code:
    <noscript>
    <p><img src="http://www.example.com/file.php?id=1" alt="blabla"></p>
    </noscript>
    and google cached the alt contents. I wanted it to read the image itself (and execute the file) and of course I was mistaken. So, how can I make google execute the remote file?

    You can't. Search engines ignore scripts and images.

    Code for Firefox, Chrome, Safari, & Opera, then add fixes for IE, not vice versa.

    Besides, that methodology is flawed. a) There are much more effective ways of accomplishing it (ie. user agent matching), b) JS can be disabled, so it wouldn't just be the SE's who would see the noscript.

    I want to detect the user_agent using PHP in that remote script. So, when it is googlebot, how can I do that? What type of contents could make googlebot run the file?

    And if JS is diabled, no problem because I want that script to work for all visits.

    Why don't use just include() it with PHP?

    Presumably because he is passing chunks of script or code to other webmasters to include on their pages, who may not be running PHP. And therefore, what he is asking cannot be done.

    There must be a way to do that..

    So, is there NO WAY to remotely detect if googlebot visited a site?
