Removing a toolbar from taskbar

Hey guys...

A friend came to me asking about removing a toolbar he added. He added a toolbar to the taskbar for c:\My Download Files\ and he doesn't want it anymore. He can remove it, but it'll come up on a restart.

Also, taskbar toolbar settings are not being saved. Other toolbars added disappear after the restart as well.

Ideas?

What version of windows are you using? Arm me with some info so I can make some informed suggestions

Hello, it's the guy who needed help here! Here is exactly what it says under My Computer properties:

System:
Microsoft Windows 98
Second Edition
4.10.2222 A

Computer:
AuthenticAMD
AMD-K6(tm) 3D processor
124.0MB RAM

I hope this helps. By the way, I can't remember if Aidan said this, but here is what happened in detail:

I made a toolbar for the folder C:\My Download Files\ . Then, I deleted the folder before deleting the toolbar. I restarted the computer, and it took a few weeks to realize that the toolbar was still there, but it was fully collapsed. I tried removing it but it came back after I restarted. I just recently realized that it's ALL of my taskbar settings that are reset. New toolbars are deleted again and the download toolbar is replaced. Woe is me.
