    Tableless Layouts

    Hi,

I've head a little about how using tables for layout slows down your pages. What can be used as an alternative to tables? Please post a sample code for me with detaild. Thanks.

Like this website (http://www.webcredible.co.uk/), it amazes me how incredibly fast it loads and they don't have the <table> tag in their source code. WOW.

You can find many CSS layout templates here and here. Looking at their code is the best way to figure how css sites work in my opinion. At least it worked for me this way...

Ps: the 2nd site is german, but that shouldnt be a problem for the teplates.

    Smile Oh boy!!

CSS or Cascading Style Sheets is an alternative to tables creating a lightweight website design. To learn more you should visit www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/edge and W3 Schools and the CSS tutorial. Hope this helps.
