Problem with example from Kevin's book!

Hi, I wasn't sure if this should go in here or the MySQL section but here goes,

I recently bought Kevin Yank's book and have been following through the examples upto chapter 4.

I tried the 1st example (a complete copy of which I found in the code archive). It was the first one that connected to the 'joke database' through a webpage. I typed it in as in the book and tried the copy from the code archive and all I get when I link to it is a blank screen. All the other examples worked up to that one. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't really get any further without succeding in this.

There's a few posts regarding the joke code. Search this forum for 'joketext' or 'yank' and see if you find your answer
