Win2k says Zip and Jaz software aren't supported. Is this true? If so...WHY????

    Hi,

My 100mb Zip drive worked perfectly with Windows 95, but kept crashing Windows 98. It runs on Windows Me but very slowly. I could not find any fixes for this on the Iomega website. I don't know if this applies to Windows 2000 though, as they are different Operating Systems.

I know what you mean. My iomega software crashes my Win98 also. I have a 2GB jaz drive, and if I try to download from the net directly to my jaz drive it instanly crashes my 98. However, if I download the file to my desktop then cut and paste it to the Jaz it works fine..Go figure...

Have you gone to www.iomega.com to see if they have Win2k versions? I would bet hard cash that they do.
