    One of the first things is you have duped a div assigned an ID. Specifically your <div id="nav">

    Code:
    <div id="nav"> <div id="nav"><ul>
    	  	<li><a href="index.php" class="navlinks">Home</a></li>
         	<li><a href="about.php" class="navlinks">History</a></li>
    		<li><a href="services.php" class="navlinks">Services</a></li>
    	  	<li><a href="awards.php" class="navlinks">Awards</a></li>
    	  	<li><a href="quotes.php" class="navlinks">Quotes</a></li>

    	  	<li><a href="gallery.php" class="navlinks">Gallery</a></li>
    		<li><a href="signwriting.php" class="navlinks">Signwriting</a></li>
    		<li><a href="links.php" class="navlinks">Links</a></li>
    	  	<li><a href="contact.php" class="navlinks">Contact Us</a></li>
    	  </ul>
    	  <div id="credit"><a href="http://www.websitesmadeeasy.net" target="_blank">Website Design</a>  <br /><a href="mailto:rebecca19@optusnet.com.au">Rebecca Citroni 2004</a></div>

    	 </div>
    </div>

    I can't see any major difference between Mozilla 1.7.5 and IE6.

    Next thing to make your font size declarations in ems partially work, define a base font size in your body css declarations.

    body {
    font-size: 100%;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    background-color:#EDE7D1;
    }

    Basically, you seem to have some sort of IE bug causing your #content container to expand in width so IE bumps it down the page. I've run out of time tonight to devote.

    I can get it to display reasonably well between IE and FF but some issues need to be tweaked

    All worked out... hard to believe but the culprit was a missing closing div tag in one of the include files... :/
