Forums No members

Hi there,

I have 7 members in my forums, I am getting 200 uniques at least per day, none are wanting to go into the forums though. When I submitted a review I posted straight after it the forums are now open, no one actually signed up though.

Can anyone reccommend a way of getting more members into the forums?

The theme you've chosen is nice but it's a bit sad and too spread. try something more compact.

You're making a big mistake: set up forums and wait for people to join and write. Nope. It's not working like this. As a rule of thumb new members are less inclined to start new threads unless they have a problem that needs solving. For that they'll go to huge forums because they have more chances of a quick response.

So your new members won't start threads from the first day, but reply. To what? To the ten-20 threads you have there? so the solution ... start new topics. With questions they can answer and feel OK. Try to have at least 10-15 threads in every category and always write new ones.

You could make some post swaps with other forum admins here or at thepostswap.com But you need many new threads. So go to work and then people will join

To make forums successfully you have to tell your friends and collegues to make some posts and make the forums look lively and active.

Second thing you can do is to exchange posts and theforumzone can help you out.

Get some more traffic, my forums themselves get 300+ visitors per day and I really only have like 6 active members.

Limit the number of forums until you have enough members to warrant having so many forums.
