    need help with postions

Ok i have just started learning css and am making a small site just for practice. I have a problem however placing one thing. The site I am working on his here I want the section labled news aligned right of the main section in the middle. I have tried doing that with margins but then if you resize the browser they overlap. Is there a way to tell them to not overlap??? Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need my css or html stuff in order to help I'll gladly give them to you.
