What are some good pc games?

The only game I have owned for 2 years noe is quake3. It is the greatist game ever but I think its time for a new one.
I have tryed unreal tournament & half life but didn't like them.

Anyone know of some good pc games I should get?

"Good" would depend very much on your taste I suppose. Good for me is any game using the BioWare Infinity Engine. Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment etc. I love an indepth AD&D based RPG, even though they destroy my social and work life for weeks on end.

I also think strategy games are cool, and am addicted to StarCraft and Warcraft II to this day

Even though I very rarely play games, I've found Civilization (I know, it's old), Black & White, Counter-Strike, StarCraft, Colin McRae, Grand Prix 3, Rogue Spear and Red Alert very entertaining.

I would like to try a driving game out something like grand turismo. Is it available for pc?

Quake 3 is indeed a great game, I consider myself very skilled at the art of fragging.

Lately though, I haven't even played Quake as I have been too busy playing Counterstrike.

If you like strategy games I would recommend "Tropico", "The Sims" and "Zeus Master of Olympus". Warning: it's easy to get addicted! I didn't get much sleep when I played them. I also like these games: "Need for Speed: Porche Unlimited " "Pharaoh", and "Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine".

Im still an avid Starcraft/Broodwar player. I also enjoy a bit of Diablo 2

even though i dont play it that much anymore i think diablo 2 is the greatest game ever. I also like star craft,sim games but then they get boring easily. I also like worms games. and the only first person shooter game i have liked was wolf 3d aka wolfenstein the rest just make me sick to my stomach with all the turning and twisting.

Warcraft 2, I was deadly at that until I stoped for counter-strike which is deadly to play with friends

The Sims seris is good, they don't get boring after awhile unlike similar games. MechWarrior 4 is awesome as well.

Worms World Party is entertainment to the max.

i think i definately need to try out b&w, though am a little cautious as there goes weeks of my life. and yes, q3a has also done that but luckily? i have managed to calm down on that lately as i have been way too busy and summer is here!!!!

I think Black and white should be quite interesting...I've heard some amusing stories of how players turn evil and start throwing people off the cliff...
I've just bought it and can't wait to try it out....You are god and you can be either good or evil =P

Black & White is more definitely an interesting game. The first time your creature does what you tell it to you will be strutting around like a proud parent. THEN, when it does something good that you DIDN'T teach it to do you, your JAW will drop on the floor when you realize that it figure out how to do that ON IT'S OWN!

Some funny stories about B&W.

I read that while the developers were still working on the game, they had a creature in a level that had no food. They were testing and testing and then one of them noticed that the creature had gotten so "hungry" that it was actually gnawing on it's own arm.

My creature (the Cow who RULES!) poops against village houses.

You can find a beach ball at the beginning of the game for your creature to play with. My creature ate it.

yup....and you can actually do that too...

I read on the PlanetBlackandWhite.com bboards that one guy was going to try to do everything in his power to train his creature to eat people from the opposing villages then have his creature wipe his butt with the village children.

I nearly died laughing when I read that post.

Bought Black & White for the wife to play with. She tried being a good god, but couldn't handle it anymore when all her people started dying due to an evil god incursion.
The few times I watched over her shoulder, I yelled stuff like "Just smite the Ba$t@rds" and "Don't help those losers leave your land - throw them in the ocean instead!"
I guess we know what kind of god I'd be.

My main game addiction right now is Tribes 2 (mainly the Shifter mod). Before that I was a Tribes 1 fanatic (again with the Shifter mod).

The wife and I also get occasionally lost for awhile at boxerjam.com

And for a multiplayer (at the same computer) game, we like the You Don't Know Jack series.
