I'm using WIN IE 5.5 and I noticed this:
when I try to view a progressive JPEG image, IE doesn't show it until all the image is complete downloaded. Why ie doesn't show this kind of image as Netscape?

They are two different browsers, so obviously they render graphics and web pages differently. There's really nothing you can do about it.

mjames, yea I guess you're right.
It's a shame that IE doesn't render progressive JPEG as Netscape (one point for the bugy netscape)
Acctually it does, just save it as Interlaced.

Interlaced is only for GIF format (progressive is the equivalent for JPEG).Originally posted by Vpekulas
