    php setup problem

    Hi, I am just venturing into php but I must have a configuration wrong or something.
    I have a test php document which should output the time, now the server is obviously passing the document to php as the document that appears in the browser is completely empty (as in nothing at all in the source) even though there should at least be some plain html tags in there.
    any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Post the code for your script here, it's possible that a problem in your script is causing this behaviour.

    This is the script - I doubt it will have a problem as it was taken from a tutorial on mysql.com done in association with sitepoint

    <HTML>
    <HEAD>
    <TITLE>Today's Date</TITLE>
    </HEAD>
    <BODY>
    <P>Today's Date (according to this Web server) is

    <?php
    echo( date("l, F dS Y.") );
    ?>

    </BODY>
    </HTML>

    Problem resolved. I tried the page in netscape and it worked ok, cleared the temporary internet files and history within IE and it worked there too. I had obviously corrected the problem somewhere but it hadn't shown because of the cache.
    Thanks.
