    Windows Help

I previously had windows 98 in my system and later installed windows 2000 separately after that whenever I start the system it will ask to select the operating system. Now my problem is how to remove that prompt asking to select the operating system, one more problem, After removing windows 98 from my c drive when ever I put some CD ROMs an error saying (windows unable to find start.exe) is displayed what is the problem? Please help me.

    Hi,
You can try right-clicking the "My Computer" icon in win2k, then go to advanced, then go to "startup and recovery", and then enter 0 in the "display list of operating systems in _ seconds".

For the cdrom prob, I personally think it should be because some cdroms, when they're programmed, they're configured to think to C:\windows is the default folder with the system files. I don't think you installed win2k in C:\windows right?
