About a year ago, there was an online company that allowed you to create screen-based tutorials (I think they called them Learnlets, but I might be mistaken) and make a commission off the banner sales when people viewed your tutorial. You downloaded their little program, and when you ran it, it allowed you to create shots of what was on your screen and you could add captions and things like that. The goal was to be able to use your own screen to record the tutorial and others could view it. People made all sorts of Photoshop and Dreamwaver tutorials.
The web address was something like earn2learn.com, or learn2earn.com. Something like that. ScreamDesign used it a little bit. I think the program that you downloaded to make the tutorials had a name similar to a female's name.
This is killing me, because I can't remember the site to save my life. I am about to pull my hair out.
Does anyone know where I can find this web site, or did it go out of business?
I've used that once or twice and it's a very clever package. Along the same lines, does anyone know of a similar package without banner ads that's not $1000 a license?
I'd like something to use to develop some online learning materials with, I don't want banner ads and my budget for this is about £150 (very roughly $300).
