new comp: Sitepoint at a snail's pace...

OK, this is a strange one...but I gotta know. I just upgraded my system, got everything set up, and came here to Sitepoint and for half of the day, nothing on the site would load at all. Now it does, but is incredibly slow (to get to this post window took 7 minutes)

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm connecting fine to every other site and my speed is clocked at well above 2000kbps. Is sitepoint having server trouble, or is there something strange going on from my end?

Yeah, last night before I went to sleep I could not access the forums at all. I was here one minute and all was fine, then it got real slow, then nothing :'(

It seems to be fine again this morning though. My guess is it is not your new computer.

This slowdown occurs because of the number of Forum visitors we are experiencing at peak times... We are investigating solutions at the moment.
