I found Cascading Style Sheets - The Definitive Guide published by O'Reilly to be quite useful and easy to follow.
I went scanning for CSS books on Amazon.com, and ended up getting Cascading Style Sheets - Designing For The Web. It's published by Addison Wesley and written by Hakon Wium Lie and Bert Bos who are both members of the W3C and the creators of CSS.
I think it's great and makes CSS really easy to understand if you're new to it.

Don't mind me, I'm having a BLONDE moment!
I second what saz says. The book is really easy to follow, but also gives a wealth of information.
The book also looks into other aspects of CSS which aren't so well known, such as Aural Stylesheets.

Perhaps I got a bunk copy, but I have the Cascading Style Sheets designing for the web book and the index is fubar (the page numbers are all wrong).
Makes it frustrating when trying to use it as a quick reference.

Believe it or not, there were two tutorials that changed my life as related to web development. This tutorial was one, the other one was Building a Database Driven Website with PHP & MySQL by Kevin Yank.
