    PHP - How to Rewrite URL & a SSL Question

    Hello

    Exactly what the titles says.

    Is this possible?

    WHY:

    1. I want to encrypt the URL after a POST
    2. Rewrite URL without to http from https

    ie: my form is defined like this
    <form name="loginform" method="post" action="
    <?=$CFG->SSL?>/login.php">

    where $CFG->SSL =
    https://www.domainname.com

    once submitted I want to show the next page
    with out SSL

    2a. maybe I'm going about it all wrong...
    to put simply:

    I just want SSL on only during the data transfer

    Thx in Advance

    Just an idea for consideration in future searches:

    Could you possibly use the header() function to just call http or https at will?

    header("Location"."https://blah.com");
